FULL WATCHALONG ~ PARANORMAL ACTIVITY
🕑 Added 2024-10-21 17:04:25 +0000 UTC**Paranormal Activity** (2007) is the low-budget, high-chill horror movie that made every creak in your house suddenly sound like a demonic entity plotting your demise. Filmed on a shoestring budget and using found footage-style techniques, the movie follows a couple, Katie and Micah, who start experiencing increasingly disturbing paranormal events in their home, all caught on the home video camera. What makes **Paranormal Activity** so terrifying isn’t what you see—it’s what you *don’t* see. The film’s slow build of dread, with subtle door movements and ominous thuds, makes you constantly scan the screen for the next freaky thing that may or may not happen. Compared to today’s horror movies, which often rely on jump scares and elaborate effects, **Paranormal Activity** proves that sometimes less is more. The tension ratchets up as Micah’s cocky skepticism turns into sheer panic, and by the time the final act hits, you’re left gripping your seat, dreading the inevitable. Sure, some may argue that nothing really happens for most of the movie, but that’s the genius of it—the quiet moments lull you into a false sense of security before the scares land. With its minimalist approach and dread-soaked atmosphere, **Paranormal Activity** reminds us that the scariest monsters are often the ones lurking just out of sight, making every night at home feel just a little more haunted.

I find this movie extremely dull and boring however I find your reaction hilarious and very entertaining.... does that make me a bad person?

Bailey is too sweet my kids would just be pointing and laughing at their mom the entire time no comforting hugs or anything
