Tuesday Showcase #14: The Gift
🕑 Added 2024-11-05 09:00:06 +0000 UTCAnother Tuesday Showcase! Yeah!
First, I want to preview a new chapter coming in version 0.13, called The Gift.
In this chapter, Nathan asks Laura to come to his apartment after work, because he has a gift for you. What could it be?
This chapter will trigger after Chapter 28 for now, but in the future, it will become what I call a Vignette Chapter (thanks Turian for the suggestion). Vignette Chapters will allow me to tell small stories that are independent from the main plot, and may sometimes be a bit different from the main chapters. I'll probably be able to have a bit of fun writing them, and allow me to give you nice stories.
These chapters will be triggered in a random order between other selected chapters, but you will see every Vignette Chapter in a normal playthrough. Just like other chapters, they will also be replayable from the Memories app. This should allow for a bit of randomness, without creating issues for picture collectors.
Ideally, I would add another chapter in version 0.13, but to be honest, the Dominant rework, and Very Dominant addition are taking a lot more time than I expected. The content added to Chapter 21 could have made up an entire chapter, and I still haven't started work on subsequent chapters (admittedly, though, these other chapters should take much less time). So, in the end, The Gift will probably be the only new chapter in version 0.13 (and some parts of the reworks might end up in version 0.14).
Note that this chapter is still the same size as other chapters, and even longer than a lot of them. π
Chapter Completion
Talking about picture collectors, the Memories app in version 0.13 will now display a bar showing the ratio of pictures you've collected in each chapter. If you unlocked all of them, this bar will turn green.
On top of that, hovering over the chapter will tell you exactly how many pictures this chapter has, and how many you've unlocked.
Roadmap
I'm now using a proper roadmap for the game, that you can find here. It shows what's planned for the next version, what I've already done, and what I'm working on.
Please keep in mind that this is just a basic tool, that doesn't completely represent the state of the game. And that the To Do section is more of a "I want to do that", instead of a "I WILL do that". Some of these tasks will get pushed back to later versions, depending on the time they take me.
Version 0.14 delay
I also wanted to warn you that version 0.14 will be delayed by a week. It will release on December 10th, 4 weeks after version 0.13. The reason for that delay is that I'm taking my girlfriend and step daughter to Disneyland, a trip I have been saving for before I had even started working on Netorase Phone.
And let's be honest, I don't really want to write porn at Disneyland. So I'm going to enjoy a bit of down time. Rest assured that following updates will keep the 3 weeks schedule though (which means you'll get an update on December 31st π
See you next Tuesday for version 0.13!

It was always a role. Laura told you he wasn't really an asshole is you asked. It was just not shown enough. And if you don't press him, he'll stay that way, so you won't see changes. Laura wouldn't hook up with a real asshole anyway.
Le Stag
I feel like the creampie is the "apex" of the relationship. Once it's done, nothing's ever the same. That's why I try to build it up. Also, I really enjoy the current phase, the teasing, the "will it happen". It's my favourite part in Netorare/se stories. Once the barrier of the creampie is over, I often think it gets stale.
Tastic
kind of disappointing to see you making Oliver present as playing a role instead of just being a asshole. kind of seems like he is just gonna continue being another Nathan, Oliver is the very submissive route bull let him be a meanie.
Oscar Granja
Hopefully Anal, Threesome and creampie get incorporated soon. But don't see it in the road map as of now.
HR
If you look at the road map he's actually taking out the creampie teasing because it's apparently not happening soon, which feels weird. Like it feels like it should have happened by now and is getting drug out.
Dr. Dick
The gift for the MC: A panty, a cage or a creampie?
Ashley Bloom
Enjoy your trip dude! Will resetting to a previous memory reset the chapter completion and pictures? Or do we have to save-scum our way to completionism?
Ash
I wish Chasity is the gift presented and forced by Laura to wear in very submissive route π
HR
I'm curious why the creampie isn't happening soon? It feels weird that the teasing is being taken out, rather than capitalized on. Like it's kinda feeling stagnant becuase nothing new is happening with Nathan.
Lesdothis
No worries, didn't want you to get your hopes up and then have it be the exact opposite.
William
Ah, my bad then! Thanks for setting me straight, I appreciate it. I'll edit the original comment so as to not mislead people.
Lesdothis
It was brought up in the discord, the idea is what I said. They're still talking about it now actually.π
William
That isn't how I read the description, though perhaps I misunderstood! I would check again but it seems like the "Chapter Ideas" section has been removed.
Lesdothis
Have fun man! Thanks for the heads up. Always appreciated to be kept in the loop. Excited to see the new chapter!
Lesdothis
The idea was the exact opposite of that. It was Nathan cancelling on Laura because he wanted to see another girl.
Neelis
Not wanting to write porn at Disneyland?! Who are you and what have you done with Stag?! Kidding of course. Enjoy the trip to Disneyland, Sir! Itβs a well deserved break from all the craziness youβve had in your life. As always, thank you for your hard work and looking forward to the next update.

It's about the general UI scripts, causing issue with Android. Sadly, I don't know at the moment what's causing issue with the Pop It game on Android. =/
eidolic
I do hope you like fleshing out chapter 21 like this because I think it's reception will be a marker for whether or not more 'route' expansion is in the future. For the rest, I'll just say reading the roadmap and what may be coming is pretty interesting. Have fun on your trip. Disney is great in the fall/wintertime.
William
I think Vignette Chapters are a great idea and I hope you enjoy your trip!
Screentouch
Have an excellent trip. But before you go (cheeky question time)- is the roadmap item "Memory-heavy UI scripts replacementβ addressing the way that the poppit mini game freezes up on android, or is that something else?
Turian
You are welcome! And hf on the trip.
Son of Odin
Enjoy the trip, and we appreciate you being so up front and clear about the state of things and timescales - I don't know if you've followed many other creators in the porn game community, but it's not often the case. Have fun at winter Disneyland, I bet it'll be a blast.
snils
Enjoy the trip man, well earned π
