Hey all,
I need your opinions/criticisms/feedback.
What parts of the above video do you find uninteresting or mildly annoying? Which parts do you enjoy?
Lemme know in the comments or in a message. Only patrons get to see the video for now (all the views are from me rewatching to catch errors, lol ) so feel free to crucify me over stuff that needs improvement.
Seriously. I want the feedbac ( good and bad ).
Context:
Many of you are probably unaware ( I never mention it ) that I often beta read, edit, and give writing advice to other authors in the erotica community.
While doing this writer's advisory, I tend to receive the same questions about the craft of writing erotica over and over again, from newer writers specifically.
And while I don't consider myself an expert in any regard, I do feel I understand the basics well enough to present them in a small, digestable portion for future authors to reference.
This, and the fact that there are very few examples of HOW to do what expansion community writers do, have led me to the above video concept: writing tip videos designed for the writing community that writes seggsy, booba stuff.
They may lead into longer, more detailed video essays or may serve strictly as a primer to a longer guide booklet ( that I'm also outlining ) but suffice it to say. . . I want the videos to be funny and ( somewhat ) entertaining.
I'm not looking for monitozation so much as the resource that I needed when I got started that I had to uncover along the way.
So. . . YEA.
Let me know your impressions on this video, how it can be improved, what it's missing, and what it does well.
For reference since idk how obvious it is. . . This video is a summary of how to write narrative promises. The title says so, but Patreon didn't like the title XD
The VO is a KNOWN issue, but I'm open to hearing more about that too XD

Time to go snag my favorite seductive voice actress to dub it over :D But no, pacing of the audio ( for clarity ) and a written form being the primary method of conveying the information are two good things to note. Is there ANY instance / situation that you'd prefer something a video format? Or is this sort of thing preferred as a document of sorts? For the record, some of these lessons (this one specifically) are already written and just need cleaning up and formatting ;)

The voice is childlike to my ear, which is an unsettling contrast for a video about erotica. It speaks extremely quickly, and it was hard for me to follow at some points. I think the advice is good, though! I would personally prefer to read this in print format on your patreon or DA or tumblr or whatever rather than watching a video :)

I know the intention is for it to be a video. But it being a video without a transcript available is one.
