A detail I left out here is that is a that point I chatted with someone who had a female russian name. The one I was about to meet wasn´t japanese. In a fictional story it´s fascinating to me how readers can make interpretations. But in that case I better make this situation clear.

Kind of ironic that Toma who is Japanese doesn't know how to read kanji whereas Toaster does despite being German. Not a good start for our Toaster friend.
