A while ago I was playing some VN, that's how the whole idea behind BEYOND PERSONA was born, while playing I noticed that some don't offer a large variety of choices, scenes and most were fixed on a straight path which led to that, sure there were exceptions...
So that's what I decided to make, I was playing before with DAZ3D so I had some ideas how it's working, plus also some experience in Maya/Blender so I wasn't that clueless, but even now, I'm still learning new things in DAZ3D, especially in the rendering which is the point of VN games along side with the story...
The project was remade a few times before it got in the shape is it now and I'm still going back to some things and change them, like re-rendering some scenes and so on, but enough of this...
Most of the scenes will play from the POV of character, which can be MC (MainCharacter) or any other side characters (based on how the story goes in that moment) that you meet along the way, of course there are some scenes where POV wasn't really the best choice so they were made from a different view, but I'm trying to keep it around 90% to fit the POV.
About the plot, you play as MC, and you just moved with some friend you've known from more than three years, leaving you to the idea that you don't really know someone till you move with them, which leads you to many new experiences that you never had before or they got better this time.
Game spreads around the course of one year but sometimes you'll experience things from MC's past as he talks about them, you'll also be able to play through them and make different choices not only the "canon" ones.
Right now I'm working to release CHAPTER ONE of game out there, still some work to be done, some renders, writing and so on, but mostly it's done.
There are no download links for the game yet.
I'll release a bunch of screens from Chapter One later this day.
