Poll Results & July Objectives -
🕑 Added 2023-06-29 01:15:12 +0000 UTCBig thanks to everyone for taking part in the poll - I was a bit surprised with the results, but it looks like most of you wanted us to go the "kool" route - And, honestly that's perfectly fine with me - I'll still go into the "realistic" style a bit for those who need it, but we'll be focusing on a slightly more "flashy" art style for the majority of our time in Unreal SFX -
Also, since I'm still hanging tight till my office is at full speed, the Mission Briefings and Debriefs this month are going to be a bit simpler. Usually I have a cool image setup to help demonstrate our goals, but this time it's going to be text - So, here is the plan for what we're going to cover next month as soon as I get my internet working on the 13th:
Unreal 5 Tutorials:
Fracture Mode
Special Effects (Niagra)
-Bullets
-Slashes
-Dust
-Smoke
-Distortion
-Sparks
-Blurrs
-Electricity
-Impacts
-Swarms
-Snow
-Rain
These are the targets I've set for next month - Hope you guys look forward to it :)
As always, hope you have a Fantastic Day, and I'll see ya around-!!

Brilliant! Next, after Unreal VFX, we dive into voxels (beginning with the free, then maybe the paid version) in "localized" locations.
Thanks Chief!
