HF Patch for HC v1.11 (mods up to 2024/07/18)

It will allow you to load all cards and give you countless gameplay improvements while still keeping the original, uncluttered and clean feel of the game. All content is tested and fixed (or removed) as needed before each update. HF Patch can repair many common problems, try it if you have issues with your game or mod setup.

HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately. You can buy the game on Steam, on DLsite (buy and download guide), or on DMM (buy and download guide). The Steam version has removed features by default, but after installing the patch it is the same as other versions.
The base game (HoneyCome), and by extension this patch are not suitable for minors. If you are under 18 years old you can not use this patch. The base game and this patch contain only characters of age 18 or higher. The creator of this patch is not responsible for creations of its users and prohibits any unlawful use of this software.

Read before installing
Before installing check this installation guide and FAQ.
Move the game to a simple path like D:\Games\HC if there are any Japanese characters in its folder path. If you don't, mods and/or the game might break.
If you have problems with installing the patch, check the solutions to common issues and the rest of the readme.
If you need any help, check the wiki or visit the Koikatsu discord server and ask in the #help or #honeycome channel. Asking in the #help channel instead of other places is the fastest way to get help, you can even search it for your issue to see if someone already answered it. There are also chat and card sharing channels on the server! You can also visit the Steam discussions.
The mod updater doesn't work yet since very few mods were created so far (also there is no zipmod/sideloader support).
There is only one uncensor available so far. If you want to disable it you will have to install the patch again with the uncensor unchecked.
Steam users: If Steam updates the game you will have to install HF Patch again to fix your install. You also have to reinstall the patch if you verify local files or install the Dolce DLC.

Make a new clean install of honeycome and try again.

It looks like a different game is installed to the selected directory. This is very likely to break one or both of the games, and to break the patch. Make sure you selected the correct directory. If you installed 2 games to the same directory you will have to reinstall them both to separate directories to fix this. How do I fix that?

The game itself lets you do that already. If you want to download cards after installing the patch make sure the web request blocker is turned off in launcher or skip it when installing the patch.

There is a slider unlocker but it's not included because of reported issues. There are no additional slider mods being worked on as far as I know.

There is a slider unlocker plugin but it's not stable so it's not included.

Sorry if this will be a tall order. Though will there be a mod or pluggin in the future that could add more sliders and adjust the limits on other sliders (like making height below 0)? It's what I used a lot in the HFPatch for KKP so I could change certain aspects of the body if I feel the proportions or geometry looks a bit off. It's alright if such a feature can't be finished and implemented any time soon. I would like to know at least whether or not it is being worked on.

There's no password. If you're downloading from one of the direct download websites maybe you chose to download an encrypted archive, in which case you should have the password too.
So I have been staring at this for an hour. It asks for a password which I do see that this has been asked already and aptly stated there is no password. Now I may have 1/8th of a brain cell. but when I extract the zip it asks for a password. Which puts me at a lost?

Move the game to a short directory path with no Japanese characters, reboot your PC, install the patch again, remove McAfee first if you have it and use a good AV instead.

Make sure there are no Japanese characters in game path, try restarting your PC, reinstalling HF Patch if that doesn't help. Try editing bepinex\config\AutoTranslatorConfig.ini and setting to and from language to both en. If all fails, ask on the discord server.

PSA: If you install HF Patch on the Steam version of the game then you can install official patches for the global (non-Steam) version of the game. If you want to update to v1.0.3 then you have to do it AFTER installing HF Patch v1.0, or it will downgrade you. If Steam updates your game you'll have to install HF Patch again to fix it (the game likely won't run or will be glitchy).

If you bought it on DLSite when you go to your owned items you should see two icons for the game. One of them is the game, the other is the DLC.

All versions of the game have the same translations. The patch doesn't change them. Not sure what subtitles you mean.

Hi ManlyMarco, I bought the English version on DLsite and the translations seem okay. But none of the Hscene dialogue is subtitled or anything. I don't want to overwrite the English version's translations but I want to have support for subtitles in the Hscene and when walking around. Is this possible with some sort of option?
