🕑 Added 2023-05-28 12:08:29 +0000 UTCAn unofficial patch for KoiKoi Love Blossoms (恋来い温泉物語, KoiKoiMonogatari) by Apricot Heart. It fully unlocks and uncensors the game and includes other useful mods.
HF Patch does not contain the game, only mods. You have to buy the game separately. You can buy the game on Steam or on DLsite. Both of these versions are pretty much identical and this patch will work no matter which version you buy.
This game is available in both VR and non-VR (desktop) versions. By purchasing the game you will get both versions. Non-VR version is available as free DLC on Steam, and as a separate download on DLsite.

The base game (KoiKoi), and by extension this patch are not suitable for minors. If you are under 18 years old you can not use this patch. The base game and this patch contain only characters of age 18 or higher. The creator of this patch is not responsible for creations of its users and prohibits any unlawful use of this software.

Read before installing / Common issues
Download all parts to the same directory. The file names need to stay the same. You can use any directory other than the game directory.
Move the game to a simple path like D:\Games\KKLB if there are any Japanese characters in its folder path. If you don't, mods and/or the game might break.
If you have problems with installing the patch, check the solutions to common issues and the rest of the readme.
If the game is in Japanese, make sure you have the latest version and go to Settings (button with a cog icon in main menu) and select English in the dropdown setting at the bottom of the list.
The included uncensor is very basic: It removes the heart censors, replaces female body texture with a custom one, and changes the meat stick color to match the rest of the male body. It doesn't modify character models and the vag texture is very basic (it can be edited by hand, it's inside the BepInEx\plugins folder).
HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately.
This patch works with both Steam and DLsite versions of the game (they are basically identical). It works on both VR and non-VR versions.
To run the game without VR on Steam, you have to install the NonVR DLC from your Steam library. Afterwards you have to browse local game files and look for the "NonVR" folder and run KoiKoiMonogatari.exe (NOT KoiKoiMonogatariVR.exe). Warning: Even if you want to only play in the NonVR mode, you still have to install the patch directly inside "KoiKoiMonogatariVR" and not in the "NonVR" folder.
On Steam, you can run the game .exe directly if you don't want to be seen playing it on Steam.
None of the included mods modify game files. You can completely disable all mods by removing the winhttp.dll file and\or the BepInEx folder from the game directory.

There is no warranty on this patch or on any of the included mods. You are installing this patch at your own risk.

Thanks I found that ovras works just fine. The model weren't meant to be seen that close in that minigame. The search for the ultimate vr onsen experience continues. :)

Not easily, you can open runtime editor (Pause key) and just move the player object to any point you want, you have to be on the correct map though. I'll keep it in mind next time I play around with this game.

Thank you for your work. I wonder if it is possible to load a map (for example take a peek minigame) and stay on it. I'd hope for a freeplay mode to relax in the hot spring in the base game. Thanks again.

1 Sunshine is a sequel with different content and mechanics. 2 DLC dates only appear after the first date. 3 Steam only has AfterParty which is all DLCs combined except for Darkness, which doesn't work in the Steam version of the game. Sunshine is not a DLC.

Thank you once again. I’m still a super noob, sorry. I have 3 dumb questions: 1. What is the difference between KK Sunshine and normal KK? 2. I have KK After School (I assume this is After Party). It has dates you can go on… but I never see dating scene locations (like subway or otherwise). Just dialogue and static backgrounf how it’s “fun” and the day proceeds to Monday without H scene. Is this normal? 3. What other DLC is there aside from Sunshine, not on Steam?

Try to re-extract UnityPlayer.dll from the game installation files into your install. If that doesn't help, also try MonoBleedingEdge, and then the exe files. Let me know how it goes.

Yo Marco, nice work as always. Got a little problem though: When I apply the HF patch the game won´t open and I get the following message: "Failed to load PlayerSettings (internal index #0). Most likely data file is corrupted, or built with mismatching" I use the DLSite-Non VR version. Any ideas?

It doesn't require VR, the steam version comes with non-vr DLC, same on DLsite.
