Approaching the clearing a sour stench of death hangs heavy in the air, thickening each breath with the weight of eldritch power rising from this ancient stone maw. Great stone teeth jut forth from the earth itself, hungrily reaching upwards to the sky, surrounding the altar of stone and brass, reminding the high priests of the local tribes of their ever hungering deity, demanding more and more sacrifices each year.

Hmmm... interesting... at first glance I wasn't sure about this, but zooming in and taking a closer look, I'm starting to get some ideas for this one. As I've mentioned, I'm running a D&D campaign set in Mythic Greece. I can see this maybe being the site of an oracle, or perhaps the pit leads all the way down to Tartarus, and this is the site of some ritual meant to free Kronos and his imprisoned titans... I love maps that give me ideas. Thanks for this!
