Through the suffocating clouds of spores and thick mud the path between the congested mycelial stalks a cloying odour rises from the strange tubular plants. Protruding from the damp soil these blooms entrance passers by towards their maws, dripping with acidic enzymes, ready for the first fool to lose their footing and fall into their murky depths.
