Smoke rises from the crackling embers left behind by the previous evening's campfires, the wind casting the ashes into the pine trees shifting far above this old quarry site. The shifting inside the tents hints at the occupants slowly regaining a hungover state of consciousness, much to their own frustration and anger.
A wise being may choose to give this group a wide berth and take extra travel time to go around the territory of this wild gang… but a bold group could gain quite a lot from showing them who the real rulers of this forest are...
