Sandstone Throne - Public
🕑 Added 2019-11-17 00:39:14 +0000 UTCAs the palms blow in the warm breeze you look up the towering sandstone stairs. Above, stretching into the sky, the marble pillars tower upwards, flanking the path up to the grand throne.
This picture of civility is not all as it seems however, a gaping maw opens to the lower level where all manner of grisly remains protrude from the mounds of sand, broken and gnawed. Punishment or sacrifice, all are welcome meals to the denizens of the pit.

Hey Brandon, I'm my head I was imagining that the bones are what's left of the poor souls dropped into the pit after whatever monster that lives there makes short work of them. Similar I guess to the Rancor pit under Jaba's palace in Return of the Jedi. All of your ideas of sacrifice, banishment and combat pit sound rad!

hey, also happy patron day, i was wondering what the skeletons are supposed to be, and why they are in there, humans for ritual sacrifice or monsters banished , a a colosseum like arena for both
