Barn Update 1
🕑 Added 2025-02-19 02:20:44 +0000 UTCThe horse barn has begun its renovation! It has been a little slow with the weather here being snowy and cold but some progress has been made while we wait for materials.
The stairs have been repaired to be functional as well as the beginning of building the room out for underneath. This room will be for a medicine / drink fridge and also a place for the barn cats to sleep and hang out.
The tack room is being framed out as well as a neighboring stall. The bottom wood is so high off the ground because of erosion, we will be scraping out this pulverized manure floor and bringing the floor level back up to its original height with top soil and crushed gravel.
Stall framing on the opposite side that will connect to outdoor runs. Pretty messy currently.
That is all for now, but hoping things pick up with nicer weather and orders finally coming in for materials.
