INXS - Need You Tonight (Drum Pattern No. 58)
🕑 Added 2022-06-30 20:29:59 +0000 UTCOne of the few mainstream TR-707 patterns I know of - and only 6 instruments, so it's a perfect fit for the TR-6S. If you have any favourite songs made with the 707 (or 727) leave them in the comments, we're looking for another one to include in the TR-6S review :)

Thanks for that list! I just realized that Lonely Island's skit "My Mic Sounds Nice" is an hommage to Salt-N-Peppa 🤦

I got you Captain... Michael McDonald - Sweet Freedom Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam - Head To Toe Salt-N-Peppa - My Mic Sounds Nice And of course... Phuture - Acid Trax, as well as We Are Phuture / Slam (but We are Phuture and Slam might have some 909 as well). Mr. Fingers - Washing Machine lots of other early Chicago Acid House, Marshall Jefferson, Ron Hardy, etc... Keep rockin those beats!

Just listened to Promised Land, what an awesome track. Would love to do that as an end jam sometime, thanks for the recommendation! And how could I have missed Rick Astley... 😅

As favourite 707 songs, I would love Joe Smooth's Promised Land or Ten City Devotion, but I suspect they're more interesting from a bass perspective than from their drums. Or Rick Astley, for intense rickrolling sessions? :D
