K1-TT - New MicroDroid
🕑 Added 2020-09-05 07:30:30 +0000 UTCA new addition to the Microdroid collection, this is K1-TT, inspired by Knightrider, features quite a speed track drive system, "Knight rider" eye using the chopper APA106 board (available from https://www.madcat3d.com/shop ), rotating dome, moving eye, multicoloured headlamps, eye LED. The battery lasts ages and ages and great fun to whizz around. Lots of opportunities for different colour schemes and racing. At this stage, here's the STL files and the Fusion source files. The instructions will be released shortly but those who have built previous microdroids will recognise a lot of the build approach.

Are there any K1-TT Instructions yet? Or at least listed what bearings to use?
Will the tracks be modified so they'll print on a 200mm bed?

It's like star wars meets knight rider meets battlestar galactic. So beautiful
