Fusion files updated! Added Dobby (DO-BB1)
🕑 Added 2020-04-13 11:52:27 +0000 UTCAdded the latest (and popular) Dobby to the list of Fusion source files.
The Fusion files are excellent for reference, customisation and to help with building and learning. I'm happy to share all the design with dedicated Patreons just ask.
The DO-BB1 (and DO) files are also excellent reference for building the model really help assembly.
Any other requests for the fusion designs just shout! Please share any remixes or remodels with the fabulous R2 Builders community.
All files are free to do whatever you want to with (except selling or making money from them, as many Bothans died to bring us this information!).
The password for all these are mrbaddeley as always.

Sorry - I am probably just going blind, I can't see how to get DO-BB1 on the files in DOv2 if anyone can help direct me?
Ty
Are there instructions to put this one together and the parts that are needed?
Finally found my way in here. Sorry for the email.

Dobby is a available as a print, he’s a modification of DOv2, in the early bird folder
Iam so not into fusion etc... I really hope someday the files for Dobbey will be available.. ;-) He is awesome, much cooler than BB8 in my opinion.

Nice hybrid. I must admit that at first I was having a hard time figuring out how D-O was related. I was too focused on the other strong influence: one of Christian Alzmann's BB-8 concepts, which appears in Star Wars Resistance as SC-X2, though I can see things like the angled radar eye that the Resistance droid's modelers interpreted differently. (I leaned toward building that same concept droid for the last few years, but I ultimately switched to one based on a different Alzmann piece.) Eventually, I noticed the wheel of this droid and went to have a look at the CAD to see the mechanism, then the D-O reference finally clicked.
