D-O v2
🕑 Added 2020-01-11 21:46:47 +0000 UTCSo, as promised, once the film was out I’d circle back and do the most accurate and best model of the movie version of D-O I can. Gotta say I loved the little fellow in the movie. Could easily have made him a Porg or Ewok but I thought it was a great character. Probably better than I expected. Anyhow v2 is well under way, for anyone interested in playing with the files early, they’re in the Wip directory. No instructions obviously at this point but coming soon! Also check out the new sounds!! My first attempt at audio cleaning :-) so pleased with them!

I've noticed that you change the continous servos by DC motors+encoder, is it a good choice/solution ? will you keep this solution for D-O v2 in this case, it will be a little bit of electronic changing, right ?

This is great, I really didn't like the design when the trailer first came out, but after seeing the movie I really loved the droid. I know it's probably in the files, but I was wondering what motor that is there in the hub?
