Sneek Peek - Shoulder Mechanism
🕑 Added 2018-12-27 23:26:45 +0000 UTCFirst render of the Shoulder Mechanism for those wanting to experiment with the 2-3-2 droid build. This has been a long time coming and is not anywhere near finished but I have managed to grab some time over the Christmas holidays to put together the basic mechanism. Just printed the first test at the moment. As you're probably aware, this is one of the hardest mechanisms to get right due to the forces at play when you roll the droid around. I've kept it simple and hopefully it'll be robust enough but no promises at this stage!

Hiya, it’s the cable channel for the positional pot. The ankle control is from a fixed rod.
Looks good. It looks like there is something running up behind the shoulder mech. Is it something to do with ankle control?
