3 ring body update
🕑 Added 2018-12-02 21:07:48 +0000 UTC ok. we’ve Printed the 3 body and the skirt, so far looks super. I’ve ordered some threaded 4mm bar (there’s eight of them, four in the body and four in the shoulders) so should be able to get the full body and skirt together soon. The skirts printing but should be done in the next two days, overall really happy. I’ve not tested the door hinges or the utility arm mechanism in the main body (I have printed Test versions of both And delighted with the results). Overall think we’re on to a winner but please treat as a beta version at the moment.Lots of design work this weekend with the skirt and a couple of domes.

Will you eventually be splitting the rings into smaller parts?

So excited for this. It will save so much work. BTW, did you see Angus' 3D printer build on Maker's Muse?
