R5 Single print dome!!
🕑 Added 2018-06-02 08:58:45 +0000 UTC The R5 single print dome is now in the Patreon Share (well 2 part print as the lower ring is a separate print but it's much easier than the jigsaw piece version). It's got some tough overhangs, I've added supports built in to accommodate the overhangs and to minimise plastic use. Not tested (I really need to get a Cr10 500mm printer so I can test print these). Working on this project now, The head came out fantastic! Working on the MkIII Body now. Just curious, on most R5 models and images, the bottom silver ring that hides the lazy susan is taller and there is clear separation. Anyone found a way to make this look more accurate?

Hi mike, just noticed when I put in in the slicer, the inner pie frame is missing ( like the R2 originally) and the 3 recessed areas aren’t there.

Printing the R4 1 piece now, bout half way thru. Will run the R5 when I’m finished.

The top should also print as part of the whole dome. There’s removable supports inside to ensure the top works :-)
Just get out and get a printer :) Does the top of that print out in one go as well? I would be well impressed if that complete thing came out on my printer!!
