Utility Arms done! MKIII body testing
🕑 Added 2018-10-21 13:49:44 +0000 UTC Well, the basic main body design is getting there. All the greebles are designed and fixings done, redesigned the vents plate, so much easier to build. The utility arms have been today’s task, simplifying the whole design and build (I’ve found simplifying the build means much longer and complex design time :-)) anyhow, see above for the gear based utility arms, really simple, three parts and the utility arms are on 6mm bearings so super smooth!Still lots to do but definitely getting there!!

Cool. Will the redesigned utility arm module fit into the old mk2 body frame? Would be cool if it can.
