New R5 dome and body update
🕑 Added 2018-10-20 13:39:43 +0000 UTC The new body design is moving along well, countless updates and fixes I’ve incorporated. The focus is to make it three rings as single prints for the 500mm bed guys, take out as much weight as possible and give loads of room in the centre. Making it easy print with no support etc. The first v2 body took me 9 months to design, so it’s a long process as every hinge, mechanism, screw hole has to be done in the body. I’m going to release a series of MKIII bodies once the first is complete and these will be fairly quick to do. All the R series will be done and I hope to release complex and simple versions (doors and panels build in on the simple one). <br><br>I’ve added a MKIII R5D4 dome to the R5 folder, has all the dome details added for the pinstripes to make painting easier, check it out. <br><br>Happy printing!<br><br>Mike,Comments

Hi, it’s the original body design without the splits and added various MKIII updates for easier printing.

Hello Mike the mk3 r5 dome is just a merge of the mk2 parts or new design ?
