A minor deviation.. In my spare time
🕑 Added 2018-05-02 20:13:04 +0000 UTC The lift mechanism is really coming together, but fancied something different in my spare time. I've wrestled with sculpting (rather than hard modelling as I'm used to) for some time, never with any real success. Anyhow I thought I'd give it a go again with Mudbox and really pleased with the first attempt. Chose Thanos for no other reason than I'd just watched the movie. This isn't going to be my main focus (that's still R2) but useful to play with now and again to learn new skills in the 3D / Modelling space. Right.. back to work on the lift mechanism!Happy printing,

The other 3D printed robot I follow was also created by a talented artist. I can do some programming and see where mechanical problem exist, but I can't do anything like this... you have an amazing talent.
