If you make this into comic, you can probably make the ending where Dark Dragon now has a harem of enslaved, muscular dragons and creatures with the American Dragon his favorite slave of all

Maybe you can do a reverse hypnosis plot? Basically, Dark Dragon corrupts and hypnotizes the Americam Dragon and makes him his obedient slut. Dark Dragon then orders the American Dragon to give him the greatest pleasure that the American Dragon can think of. And to the Americam Dragon, there is no greater pleasure than being a slutty slave, so following his master's commands, the hypnotized American Dragon proceeds to dominate the unwilling Dark Dragon and hypnotizes him to make him his slave. Ultimately, this ends with the American Dragon as the new master and Dark Dragon the slave.
