Switching Proper Places: Part 8
🕑 Added 2024-06-19 09:00:04 +0000 UTCI believe I've mentioned this at the start of this story, but Switching Places' tone and length are actually a product of me taking inspiration from another writer. If you look around on AO3, I highly recommend searching for a few stories by the author Clairanette/Clairacuddles. Her story Matron's Handmaiden was a big influence on this, especially its early chapters, when it was more of a cat and mouse game between two lead characters. It's a much more well written story, of course, but I'm doing my best to reach her level lol.
This chapter also gave me an opportunity to look up some vintage cocktail/party dresses, which is always fun!

Love love love! This story continues to get better with every chapter. I dig how Nina has given in on some things but not everything, keeps it exciting and the tension up. What a cliffhanger! Can’t wait to see what happens next

Oh I love this cliffhanger! Personally I'm not as into the idea of the dominants being as controlled as the submissives, so I like the idea that Rory isn't controlled, they were tricked to think they were so they'd take charge over an abusive domme
