This really is my favorite secular holiday. I just love costumes and horror movies, and I plan to spend my Halloween this year combining those interests! Until then, how about a sequel to my most horror-themed story?
I do have a lot of thoughts about The Stepford Virus, especially how admittedly unfortunate its timing was, considering real life goings-on in 2020. As a result, this oneshot is a bit less focused on the virus itself, and more on the idea of horror movies, and zombie movies in particular, although I suppose it also has some slasher elements.
Aside from that, I hope this story is enjoyable! I had a very fun time with the ending, and people who have read my previous stories will probably enjoy it quite a bit~

Thank you! The Stepford Virus being a movie in-universe is an idea I was really excited to implement, since it allows it to exist in a way despite how widespread it is. In a way, I see my stories as having sort of 3 levels? There are those (like Stepford Virus) which are fictional, the vast majority exist in the same universe, and then a few take place in “the real world” where its just a fetish.

OMG the ending is delightful! The story it’s calling back to is still maybe my single favorite story of yours (or up there, anyway). I think the way you’re building these stories-within-stories is very clever
