I get a guy on my YouTube shorts sometimes who does wasp content where he shows off a wasp and let's it go at the end after educating the views on why they are cool and important as a specific species. He is just a human who likes cool little dudes and comes with knowledge.

No yeah literally. Any time I've watched someone handling wildlife for videos they always mention Steve. It was sad for me to hear, but one of my previous teachers at an internship had actually worked with him a bit and said that he was far more interested in being in front of a camera and being a showman. No doubt he did important work and his legacy has inspired much more, but if he were still alive he would definitely be seen as a more controversial figure.

A collab between y'all and T&C to do a bash session on the grabby people!!!

I do think that some of the people that make videos handling wild animals to show them have good intentions but I see what yall mean. I think some of them are really trying to be like their hero - Steve Irwin. I could be generalizing, but I’m not talking about people who purposely harass animals to bite/sting them for clicks, just the people going into the wild and touching wild animals.

Great points about Coyote Peterson and channels like that. He seems like a nice guy but it might be counterproductive. I really appreciate you guys. You deserve all your success and more!

I’d love you hear your guys take on this short! I think it’s good education, but it sure doesn’t look like this snake is having a good time. :( https://youtube.com/shorts/Un7GXM_Ywpw?si=PKQQPJ2L36g6M0vh
