This episode made me cry. I’ve listened to all of them and your work is so inspiring. All of these creatures are so beautiful and it’s terrible what’s happening to them, but this episode gave me hope that it’s not too late for many species

I've listened to every episode. It's pretty much exactly what I've been wanting for a podcast for a long time.

I absolutely love this podcast and everything you do at Alveus! Connor and Maya, your passion for conservation has been truly inspiring. I’ve watched every episode, and I’m so grateful to be able to support the podcast on Patreon. Because of you, I got into insect macro photography, which has sent me down the rabbit hole of wildlife photography. It’s become a big part of my life, and I can’t thank you enough for sparking that passion. Keep up the amazing work!

You're welcome I guess. I'm only here for the tree. Also, every episode gang.

Another all episodes gang here too. Also throw on random episode while I work sometimes. Re bandicoot, I did know it was an animal prior to this episode, but only because of a trivia question like a year ago. Blew my mind too

I've watched all the episodes, always enjoy. Just wanted to point out because people will make the comments on YT I'm sure and it's the one topic I am most familiar with - All the references I can find, the C-130s used were from Lynden Air Cargo (not the military), and was just a "C-130", AC-130 stands for Attack/Cargo, which as Connor mentioned are the ones with guns. So the title is partially inaccurate. Best parallel I can think of is that it's similar to saying Stompy is an Ostrich, which is incorrect. They are in the same family - Ratites (C-130 family), but they are a different species (aircraft model). Updating the title to "Bison Transported in a C-130?!" would be much more accurate (The ones used are technically L-382s, but no one will know what that is, a lot of people know what a C-130 is, and the L382 is in the C-130 family), obviously enough people will understand what you meant though. Keep up the great work!

seen/listened to every episode 3+ times, it's great to have on in the background. also everybody remember to protect your pets (especially cats) from the avian influenza spreading around, cats have a 67% mortality rate and there's no cure for them, keep them indoors to limit their contact with wild birds and disinfect yourself before entering your house, we don't want our furry little babies getting sick!

Have bandicoots technically became extinct 7 times (1 times "naturally" + 6 times after each unsuccessful release)? That's... sad :-(. At least they managed to become de-extinct on the final try.
