Patreon Reward New Format Poll!

Hey, buddies! We wanted to touch base with everyone regarding our Patreon Reward format, and see what everyone would prefer we do for the future regarding all of our rewards!
As BLits is developing new projects behind the scenes that heavily involve Mikkoukun and Zael, we want to spend the majority of our time on these endeavors, but we also want to keep you, our supporters, satisfied and keep pushing out fun ideas with Camp Buddy and other Original Characters of the BLits Brand!
With that in mind, we decided to conduct a survey and see what style of rewards everyone prefers! Please check out the details below explaining the style, along with the infographic:
Notes:
- Variant - Change of background or clothing.
- Sequences - Changes of facial expressions/body movements.
Option A:
- Two Maximum Quality Sets (Linework, coloring & background of highest quality)
- The first set will be the poll winner, and the second will be chosen by the artist (it will not be a part of the poll usually).
- There will only be one variation (such as clothed or naked), and alternative and background-less versions will not be included.
- Sequence amounts will be between 3-8, depending on the theme and composition of the image.
Option B:
- One Maximum Quality Set (Linework, coloring & background of highest quality)
- Maximum Quality Set will contain no variants such as costume changes, color variants or background-less versions.
- Maximum Quality Set sequence amounts will be between 5-10, depending on the theme and composition of the image.
- 1-2 Extra Sketch Sets with no variants or sequences (always from the poll choices).
- Theme and characters of the extra sketch-quality sets will be most likely the other options of the monthly poll.
Option C:
- One Maximum Quality Set (Linework, coloring & background of highest quality)
- Contains at least two or more variants, including costume changes, naked versions and at least 1 background-less version.
- Contains high amount of sequences, between 8-15 or more depending on the theme and composition of the image.
- Can be more than one set depending on development schedule.
- Our current system.
Please vote below and feel free to leave us a comment telling us what you think! The poll will end on Saturday, July 30th and we will heavily consider everyone's opinions, and we may test out whichever system is voted on in the August 2022 Rewards!

Yeah, but there's no guarantee that the single variant for either will be a naked one (see the Taiga example under A). I guess that depends on your preferences though

PS: Do you think it would be possible for the Natsumi x Hunter x Keitaor option to be in an upcoming reward, second set or poll? Lots of potential in this choice (my opinion) Too bad so few people see this

Hi Scout James! It's more efficient for us to have more freedom without the restriction of the poll options to push out a second reward considering our current dev schedule. But yes, we definitely will use characters that are not part of the first set! And yes, this gives us more freedom to feature characters that otherwise never win polls. Option A would most likely still have the full-naked and full-clothed variant depending on how applicable it is on the picture. What I'm sure of we can't include anymore are the partial clothing removal, or alternative costumes and coloration since separating and switching the art in such way actually takes so much more time in both execution and extraction, than drawing something that only has a singular variant We'll definitely revisit the pledge pricing to make sure everything is still worth the price! Hello,the team. Thus option A does not give us access to one of the lost options but to the option of your choice. Wouldn't it be easier and more efficient for you to choose one of the losing options than to agree on another? But if it's not possible to do it for some reason, that's ok. Just, for the second set, can you use characters that are not part of the first set (to avoid repetitions and give each character a chance). Or if you want to repeat one, whether with the lesser (for example, if we had this trio of natsumi with this new format, then the second set could have him or Hunter, because they don't win often) If option A could have 2 variants (when C has 2 or more), or if in case it keeps to one, if it could be always naked in case the first sequence of the set had too many clothes, because I think seeing the characters fully naked gives a better appeal for the patrons and makes better for the price

Hi there! There seems to be a bit confusion on the comments on the post so we updated a bit of the descriptions. Option A, the 2nd set is our choice that will usually not be part of the poll. Option B, however, the extra sketches would definitely be the losing options from the poll.

The current system Option C is actually already good with some past rewards having two image sets, its just unfortunately there are limited images recently cuz of new projects. Maybe while during development of games Option A can be used for Patreon and then after release when things calm down just switch back to Option C, now hopefully with more time to make for additional image sets.

I like Option A as there'll be two image sets but just having one variant feels limiting especially if there's no naked scenes. How about allowing two variants for Option A one clothed and one naked.

I've chosen option A as I see this as the better option than the current C system as getting 2 images sets seems the better value for money whilst increasing variety
