February 2020 Poll - Yuri's New Fanfics

Hey there, buddies! Valentine's Day is around the corner, and with a couple new additions to the Camp Buddy cast, it seems like Yuri has been inspired into another round of fanfic writing! The new Scoutmaster, Naoto Hamasaki, is big and buff, and she's even heard that he was an underwear model before, giving her lots of ideas. Kieran Moreno on the other hand is a returning camper who's caught up in a love triangle that basically writes itself! Who will she pick to write about?
This month will contain three rewards with the winning character, consisting of a solo set, a top set (with mystery character) and a bottom set (with mystery character). The character with the most votes will receive all three rewards, and check out the post image for a little sneak peek of who they're with!
The poll will be open until midnight on Valentines day (EST). Choose wisely, buddies!

kieran is still a new character and i think he's sexier and we all love to see his artwork at least this time. Naoto had 1 last year but I agree he needs more artwork

Naoto, i think that he should be a third love interests in the Yoshinori DLC, but also a Naoto x Keitaro, Naoto x Taiga, Naoto x Yoichi or Naoto x Seto would be nice.

I think Kieran would be paired up well with Keitaro, Taiga, or Hiro. Keitaro and Taiga make the most sense since Kieran and Taiga used to be in a relationship and actually have chemistry while he and Keitaro got to know each other a bit so it would make sense to pair the two up in a way. As for Hiro, that would be more of a pairing to make things interesting.

I 100% agree with you (shocking I know XP) I think if maybe we had a clearer view of who the pairings for Naoto were, that might help (Aiden and Keitaro I think would have gotten the best reception), as Aiden in a very popular scoutmaster, and Keitaro is both a camper, and someone people have wanted to see with Naoto) But even then, Kieran's relevancy, and the fact that this will be his very first sets (3 right off the bat, no other new character has been introduced with 3 sets, lucky him) with two highly requested/relevant to his story pairs, pretty much guaranteed his victory. Everything was stacked in his favor.

So I think on paper this duel sounds better than in reality. I think Naotos popularity was just overestimated it's basically a auto win for Kieran. There's also a few things I believe that amplify this. First of knowing a theme is nice but knowing pairings generally seems better. So everyone basically knows that Kieran will be paired with Keitaro and Taiga (two popular characters) while we have no idea what Naoto would get. At the same time the trend for people here is to vote for scouts not scoutmasters if you look at the past polls they were in. So if there is just one scout he definitely gets more support than the other choice. Then there's also relevancy. Naoto had his only win directly after CB came out and never has been seen since then for over a year while Kieran is still from the not so long ago released Taiga expansion and also seemingly paired with Taiga which people asked for since the release of Taigas route. Honestly scout vs scoutmaster polls aren't too exciting the winner is known since the beginning of it. Otherwise we wouldn't just have 4 sets for Goro, Yoshinori and Naoto combined since patreon only sets were a thing. I personally believe that if you ever want any of them to win don't put them up against the campers it's not working it hasn't in the past 3 years. My suggestion if you want them in is do more scout x scoutmaster options or do one poll for scoutmasters without campers.
