Potentially as it is they could all be in different games in the end xD Who knows :p I'm still putting my hopes into Avan being a protagonist but I would be fine with Connor aswell :p

Hmm... you may be reading more into it then intended, cause he Said he was “just like” Connor and Jirou, implying that they to are “playable.” So I get the feeling “playable” doesn’t necessarily mean THE main character. Most likely just one of the main romances. But who knows, at this stage, I’m just excited to know that they already have plans for future games, and who ever the main character is, in sure I’ll love it.

Oh also I hope since we get two Connor and Jirou sets that we will get both as top and bottom :p (even if I would be happier with Connor topping twice to be honest xD) and finally I can draw Avan now since I know how he looks and not just how his eyes look like :p
