And I'm so glad you are here! Yes, I do consider WwF to be my opus. All my chopping away with fanart and learning to draw and to write in a way that satisfies me has led me to this point.

Right there! Sun Bear Stare!

"But babe! The bees are buzzing in the trees to make some honey just for me!" "Don't try to sweet talk me with those necessities!"

Jose Rosa

These bears care. I imagine Meesh would love to be an amateur /bee/ keeper, but Pandy has to remind him that he'd just eat the product before they get it to the farmers' market. Bearkour!! https://youtu.be/QvFdsyy96Jw?si=TYc1Hfldq5jPG3QC

Thank you! Yours truly is working hard!

Another great question! The short answer is, anyone can be from anywhere. The long answer, which can't really be explained here in all its detail, implies that in prehistory, animal people evolved in the region where their /animal/ ancestors originated. A great ice age caused people of all species to convene with one another for mutual aid, gathering in what would become countries. This being prehistory, we have very little actual evidence of what happened here. Also, religions have muddied the waters, some stating that animal people were created instantly in the Almighty's image and society was spawned by two individuals. Then again, there is a strong argument for an "Eden" where animal people of all species worked together in a sort of paradise, before dwindling resources forced them to scatter. TLDR: To answer your question, it's involved.

Does the species of the person usually corelate with what ethnicity they are or is that a rare occurrence? Also, how does race/ethnicity work in WwF? In this and previous posts you've just said the characters race/ethnicity, but in the world can people tell someone's background or is it more complicated since there are so many different species? I hope this doesn't come off as rude, I'm just genuinely curious.

Jonathan

I love how much thought and background you've put into this AND still crank out comics!

Sun bear! So rare!

One thing I love about WwF is that for those who want to learn more about the mantis/frog plunking at the keys and drawing, there's a wealth of stuff! I had no idea that you had Icy this long, though her being the big mom/dad for most of WwF's adults fits with you and the Pateron and i'm glad I joined and wish I had sooner. I know there's fans who knew you wayyy back in the DA days when you were showcasing your love for Usagi and the rest of the crew, even as they were being censored all to hell to be thrown to the masses of after school TV in the 90's, along with DBZ and so on. WwF to me has what seems to be a foundation of 20+ years of building on art and writing and worldbuilding, along with expanding your tent to welcome in a few true blue friends to help and who have proven themselves. You are friendly to all, but don't just answer the door to anyone and with good reason. I adore the passion and worldbuilding that shows both you and your wife's talents. I'm so glad to be here.
