When October Goes
🕑 Added 2024-10-29 15:01:18 +0000 UTCI've been thinking about Clem lately. It's been good for me to hang out with this quiet, serene woman of both strong intellect and childlike wonder, who bothers to stop and contemplate the last few falling leaves of the season. They'll be snowflakes soon enough.
Meanwhile Piggy Sue is halfway down the block, wondering wtf her girlfriend is looking at.

Clem is a mood

This is why I love my fall SCA drives. The second Crown Tourney I fought in was in autumn, in Scranton, on the other side of the state. We took the backroads home, because we had nowhere special to be. Such a beautiful drive. With the exception of looking for gas that one time, and my spouse getting called "Bruja" by some rando in the Sheetz parking lot when we DID find gas, that was one of my favorite fall drives.

Same, Clem. Same.

Clem gets autumn.

Maybe, one time... It would be Clem that explained to Sylia what falling leaves are and why they exist. The seasons mean something wholly different when you live in the sea, and if anyone could express the wonderful of autumn, it seems to be Clem.

A very contemplative piece with a very funny ending to the caption. :D
