CTR 2.1 RC5 ver. 14 - today's testing (3 pic)

As a test processor I chose the hot 5800X and I was able to lower the temperature to 9(!) degrees with the standard CTR settings (picture with the 3D Mark Time Spy test). At the same time the cache latency decreased, the L3 bandwidth increased and the average frequencies increased.
Let me remind you that dynamic profiles is an alternative to Curve Optimizer, allowing to achieve better frequency/voltage ratio and let the system run at lower voltages. Those of you who have used CO before know that changing the coefficients does not make the processor cooler. CTR allows you to control all of the key "boost" settings.

I think many of you are wondering, how often does the frequency of the dynamic profile change?
62 times per second in increments(or decrement) of 25 to 50 MHz.
The current frequency switching rate has overtaken Zen 1 and Zen + processors (33 times per second).
Will this affect CPU utilization? - No. CTR consumes up to 0.2% of CPU time during runtime and in most cases this value is 0.0%.
There were many problems associated with this incredible ability which forced me to postpone the RC5 release. At the moment the project is not threatened by anything.

Really impressive result. On a side note also for the memory latency. Haven't seen such low numbers on my 5950x since upgrading to a BIOS using AGESA 1.2.0.0 or higher... Running 3733 CL14 CR1 RFC336 mind you... Would be very interested to see your secondaries and tertiaries although somewhat off-topic :)

Yuri, will the latest version idle less just like version 11? I noticed that my 5900x rarely idles anymore (it’s mostly on PX High), resulting in higher temps.

There will definitely be support for the new Threadripper. But only in CTR 2.2 PRO. I'll share my plans later (after CTR 2.1 RC6).
That's an astounding result... On CTR 2.1 v4 with hotfix, 5800x, Aorus Master X570 with 3600mhz cl16 RAM (4x8GB), My best bench is just 5,996. That's with VDroop <1%. (Yes, ran all memory tests as recommended in the PDF). I have a RGB v2 Castle 360mm radiator running 3x120mm LIan Li Uni Fans at full pelt and am hitting max temps of around 80c... CPU rating within CTR is 'Silver'. If I can get only half way from where I am towards the bench results in your screenshots with my setup I'll be mightily impressed with RC5!

Another question --- since we are more or less aware that in August or September.... or maybe later... the Threadripper based on ZEN3 will be coming... now the obvious and rhetorical question --- do you plan to add support in CTR for the upcoming Threadripper based on ZEN3 ? I would looooooove to see the support from the get go.... Thanks 1usmus for CTR, for Calculator, for everything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! What's the binning of your CPU? I posted a while ago that I was getting horrendous temperatures (frequently hitting 90 with a full custom loop) so I RMAd my silver and got a gold!! Temperatures rarely hit 83 so definitely was a problem with my cpu, glad I listened to you all! Very excited to try this!

in RC6, which will be available at the end of the month I have prepared able to use the P2 profile in P1 mode depending on the current temperature.
