Thoughts about The Sims 5
🕑 Added 2023-06-27 23:23:29 +0000 UTCHi y'all. I seen the second episode of Behind The Sims. In the last minutes we can see some details about Project Rene aka The Sims 5. I was wondering what would you like to see in the next game? From a strictly technical point of view, I'd love to see more realism, higher texture quality and with a less cartoonish graphic.

I'd love to see an open world again, it was one of the best thing in Sims 3

i just can't wait to see if we really gonna have a semi-open map or a full one...

Whether I prefer cartoony or realism would probably depend on what kind of facial animations are given to the Sims. If itβs going to be very silly then more cartoony approach might suit better. But overall I hope character models look much better than now. Other than that I hope the game will have more depth than Sims 4 does right now. Although, of course modders will be fixing a lot of things. And that perhaps brings me to what I wish the most is that the game supports modding well. I am not a creator myself but I use a lot of mods and it would be great to see lots of creative freedom for both CC makers and those who make mods like Basemental and Wicked Whims. I donβt have high hopes when it comes to EA but modders can do amazing things if the game allows it.
