Nice to see Rosie using my logic here. I know something supernatural is at play here making everyone take the bet more seriously than intended but being wish washy too long can get tiresome. It’s nice to see Pat is thinking about leaning into and accepting the situation completely.

I totally appreciate these, but you don't need to feel put out if you miss a week or just feel like reading without working. This is totally just a nice thing you're doing, I don't lose anything if you don't, can't, or won't. I gain when you choose to. Thanks!
I'm pretty late to this, but I outright missed the last one so I figured I shouldn't make a habit of that. "...andcocked her lips..." Think this is self-explanatory. "I was going to have to have this conversation with Deanne and with Charlotte, eventually." This isn't wrong, but "have to have" always sounds like a mouthful of gravel. "I had to have" is a little less cumbersome, but it's also far from perfect. I was going to do more, but that's as far as I could get for now. Like the chapter so far!
