Theo had a one time thing with Anna and Ray because he was leaving. While Anna and Theo weren't together together, Ray did go second, and is the one in the wrong.

Reading this Ray was 100% a slut in the situation and 100% in the wrong. Fucking the guy one of your friends is in a relationship with is a slut move. It doesn’t matter if they were Bound to break up, because the relationship still existed at that point.

I'm guessing from how things are worded he can push their limits while they're under the influence of the potion, and they'll accept these new limits (hence the toplessness) but in order for them to be readjusted they need to be exposed again.

Idk. The girls always shy away from direct advances but then send mixed messages. I’m sure I’ll figure it out when Ray does. Anna and Ray really need to talk a bit before the tub. Or I anticipate large explosions as they try to settle In the tub. Ray seems to be stunned at the birthday boys positive reaction to events of 4 years ago.
