When I was 18 I worked at the cookie place in a mall, and I had a little pocket knife I was using to open a box of cups, and I was kneeling down, and cutting down the box, and somehow I managed to swing the pocket knife in such a way that I stabbed my thigh about 2" above my knee. I went to the ER and got 3 staples. Everyone's favorite thing to condescendingly tell me after was "You always cut away from yourself" which wasn't super helpful for the job I was doing when I managed to stab myself. Congrats on the cool scar!
