Chapter 542 - Where to next? - Sleeping Dragon
🕑 Added 2025-02-11 20:30:12 +0000 UTCThe momentary break had mainly been to prepare you for what came next, leaving you standing outside Sarah’s door with the intention of waking her up without any collateral damage.
“I should have had Lucy do this” you mumbled to yourself, annoyed at yourself that you didn’t take her up on her offer when she had suggested it earlier.
However even as you said that, the guilt got to you and you realised you should have a bit more compassion. Even if she was a pain to wake up, you had still spent some very intimate time with her yesterday and if you didn’t at least see her before you went to school, then you wouldn’t be able to forgive yourself later if she thought you didn’t care about her.
You didn’t bother knocking as you knew she was unlikely to hear you and peered into the room, letting your eyes adjust to the lower light level of her room that still had the curtains closed.
What you didn’t expect was that she was already awake, staring down at her phone with the light from it illuminating her face so that you could actually see her.
“...Morning” you greeted in surprise, getting her to look up as you entered.
“Hey” Sarah replied, still sounding sleepy which you took as a good sign.
Regardless of how you felt, you still moved closer to the bed to talk to her and Sarah lifted the cover at the side of her to let you get in bed with her. You didn’t feel the need to reject the offer so you cuddled up next to her and she moved to let you wrap an arm around her before settling back into a comfy position.
“You’re up early” you said, stating the obvious but wanting to see if she would explain her behaviour.
“Yeah I heard some noises earlier and then when I checked to see the time I saw I had some messages” she replied, passing you her phone before fully hugging your chest to hold you tighter.
The only person you could see it being that both you and Sarah had a common interest in was Jessica and you were right to assume that.
Jessica: Hey, I know we haven’t been speaking but I ran into Max yesterday and we talked for a bit. Well mainly he did the talking but I think I owe you an apology for painting him in a bad light.
I know you told me that all was forgiven between you and while I was having trouble accepting that, I feel like I was too harsh in not believing you and I should have at least listened to what you said.
I’m not expecting you to respond to this or forgive me, but I wanted to apologise and… Yeah, I’m sorry.
Looking at the text, you could see that it had been written almost at the same time you had woken up so either Jessica was an early riser like you now were or she had been thinking over this text all night, both of which showed that Sarah had been on her mind.
“Have you thought about if you want to reply” you asked Sarah, wrapping your arms tighter around her to pull her deeper into a hug.
She seemed to appreciate your touch as she let out a moan as if she had just done a full-body stretch.
“I think I’m gonna talk to her in person today. I’ve held off talking to her for long enough and she does seem to have had a change of heart so you talked to her. Plus even though I was mad with her originally, I do miss hanging out with her a lot” Sarah replied, taking the phone back from you when you offered it.
She immediately put it on her dresser and returned her full attention back to you.
“Plus if you are thinking of using her like you use me then that solves all the problems anyway” Sarah added, snuggling next to you.
You had to take a minute to realise what Sarah had just said and while you weren’t looking to start a serious topic this early in the morning with her, especially when you had just formed some plans to leave early, it felt like this was something that needed to be addressed now.
“Just to check with you, you don’t think I was just using you last night right? I mean I know you enjoy being treated like an object but what we did isn’t something I’m going to be doing with people randomly. I’ve only done that with only you and Emma so far and while we can have a discussion about Jessica another time, I need you to know that this wasn’t just sex” you declared, your voice coming out harsher than you expected.
“No, of course not!” Sarah quickly responded, moving slightly away from you so that she could turn around.
It was only now that you realised she was just wearing some panties with nothing else on, having been able to hide her body with the covers without even intending to.
“Okay, that’s good. It’s just when you say ‘use’, it doesn’t sound like this is a mutual decision” you said, trying to find the right phrasing for your current feelings.
Sarah went to reply almost as soon as you had finished talking but she stopped herself, the expression on her face as if she was conflicted about what she was going to say.
“...I kinda like using the term. I know how it sounds but to me it’s like using a term of endearment and something more possessive all rolled into one. Like I can use it happily for you, me and the others and then for someone like Jessica, I can use it more literally” Sarah explained, starting off more timid but once she saw you weren’t interrupting, she spilled her guts to you.
Your own feelings on the term had just made it sound like Sarah was speaking negatively of herself and while you were sure it would take some getting used to even when given the context, hearing her side of things did help you to see the term in a different light.
“Right, that does make more sense when you put it like that. I didn’t want you putting yourself down and even Mary and Lucy were a bit worried about you when you were saying it” you revealed, deciding to be completely honest with her.
“Oh, I guess I should have been a bit more open about that” Sarah sheepishly replied.
She went back to hug you again but instead just moved forward so her tits pressed against your chest, essentially spreading herself out on top of you and leaving you trapped beneath her.
You felt her warmth and knew that if you stayed still for any longer, it would get more and more likely that you weren’t going to be able to get up, making you have to decide in the moment whether or not you were willing to make a move.
Author's note: Again, apologies for the late chapter. Had a couple busy/rough weekends so trying to roll with it :)
