Chapter 530 - Straight to bed? - One on one time
🕑 Added 2024-12-17 20:24:42 +0000 UTCYou didn’t mean to stare but as soon as you saw Mom when she walked in, it felt like you were unable to take your eyes off her. She wore a gown that you could best describe as babydoll lingerie, a layer of lace covering her body while more opaque material covered her more private areas. It flowed down to just past her upper thigh but as she moved it swayed and gave you an unobstructed view of her skin for just the briefest of moments before being covered again. You were sure the lace gown could be detached from the underwear for more comfort but for now it seemed that Mary was keeping it on. Whether that was for your benefit or for hers, you weren’t quite sure yet.
“You look incredible” you announced, not being able to hold back your thoughts as you pushed yourself up a bit against the headboard, wanting to show her that she had your full attention.
Mary blushed at the praise and the way she had clearly caught your eye.
“You said we were only cuddling, remember?” Mary warned, leaning forward to point a finger in your direction.
The way she leaned towards you gave you an even more pronounced look at her cleavage, only making her wag her finger even more as she saw where your eye-line was going.
“That was before you walked in looking like that but… fine, just cuddling as promised.” you replied, tearing your eyes away from the sight in front of you.
Mary looked slightly dubious but she still turned off the lights and lifted the covers to get into bed at the side of you, deciding that now was the time to undo the lace gown and leave it folded up on the table at the side closest to her. She settled in next to you and as you expected, she wasn’t sure how to initiate anything and it would have to be you who made the first move, not being able to fully gauge her reaction in the dim light of the room
You shuffled over to her side of the bed and wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her back closer to you until it was against your chest. You made sure that Mary could feel that her early show when she left the bathroom had left you hard as you pressed your erection firmly against her against her ass.
Her breathing changed and she held in a breath when she felt your touch, tensing up.
However as you let your fingers run small circles across her skin, where your hands still held her waist, she relaxed back down to where she was before.
With her this close, you felt her heart beat faster and any time you moved, you could feel it start to speed it, finding it amusing to see how little you could move to get a reaction out of her.
“You’re doing it on purpose aren’t you?” Mary asked, finally cottoning on.
“I don’t know what you could be talking about” you answered, tracing a line on her stomach.
Instead of scolding you, Mary shifted and turned fully over, facing towards you with her face right next to yours. Your eyes had managed to adjust to the darkness in the room and you could finally make out her expression again, her eyes not showing any doubt in you.
A moment passed with neither of you speaking but you moved an inch closer towards her, letting your foreheads rest against one another as you shared the closeness between you.
“Do you enjoy spending time with me?” Mary questioned, the question hitting you completely out of the blue.
“Of course I do. What made you think otherwise?” you asked back, feeling the need to pull your head back so you could look at her again.
“It’s nothing that…” Mary started to say, going silent and it didn’t seem like she was going to carry on talking.
You could have pushed her more to reply but it felt like that wasn’t the right approach as she lay there next to you, needing some reassurance rather than anything else.
“I wanted to spend time with you today in the living room. I wanted to watch that show with you. I wanted to spend the night here with you. I want to wake up and see you laying in the bed next to me. I’m going to spend tomorrow with you and everyone else. And I want to spend countless more days with you as well” you replied, ending each point with a kiss.
First on her forehead and then each of her cheeks before finally kissing her gently on the lips, not pushing for more but just showing your sincerity to be with her in the moment.
And what felt best to add to that was you lifting yourself up so your head was slightly higher than where Mary lay, letting her rest in the crook of your arm. Mary moved closer to be in the space you provided her and you were able to wrap your arm around her to hold her tight, giving her a quick squeeze as if one final act to show that you were here for her.
“I’m sorry about that. It’s just been one of those days where everything seemed to be going well until I actually stopped and took a moment to think to myself” Mary revealed, her thoughts mirroring your own from earlier in the day.
“I don’t think that’s anything you have to be sorry for. Everyone has negative thoughts sometimes and I think it’s a good thing to work through them. You know I’m always here if you need someone to talk to and if you ever need some space you can let me know about that too and I’ll try to make sure Sarah and Lucy come to me first” you suggested, knowing what would help you when you have dealt with this previously.
Sometimes you just wanted a person there so you could vent your feelings or share some comfort with but you also understood your own feelings when it came to isolating yourself so you could spend some time alone with your thoughts.
“...Thank you” Mary eventually whispered, hugging you close with what felt like the intention of never letting go.
Even though you were happy to enjoy the moment with Mary in your arms, even you were starting to reach your limit and you could feel the lack of sleep start to get to you. You held on a little longer even with your eyes closed and you could feel that Mary’s heartbeat had gone back to a steady pace and her breathing was level, signs you took as her falling asleep before you.
There were no important thoughts you felt like you needed to resolve or no unresolved issues that came to mind like when you were usually alone with your thoughts and with Mary providing you company, you were able to peacefully drift off to sleep at the end of what felt like a very long day.
