Chapter 477 - Is there anything you investigate after that? - Probing questions
🕑 Added 2024-07-04 18:06:46 +0000 UTCWith Emma gone, that left just you and Sarah now walking up your drive before Sarah started fumbling with her keys.
“Do you know what that was about?” you asked, trying to get a read on Emma’s suspicious behaviour.
“...I’m not sure” was all you got in response, seeing Sarah briefly pause with her keys in her hand before she carried on like nothing had happened.
With that, you were definitely convinced that the two of them were up to something or had at least had a conversation without you that you hadn’t been made aware of, potentially the one this morning before you had left for school.
Sarah didn’t comment any further as she opened the door and she went in ahead of you, showing no signs that she was up to anything. Still you felt the need to follow along behind her to see what she was doing and when she didn’t go straight up to her room and instead skipping the stairs to walk further into the house, you felt your intuition was correct.
You poked your head around the door to see that Lucy was lazily stretched out on the sofa, her t-shirt bunched up and exposing her midriff. It wasn’t anything amazingly erotic compared to what you had experienced recently but just seeing her acting casual on the sofa with her guard down while still in her casual clothes was enough to catch your attention before you forced yourself to look away and follow Sarah.
Sarah went through the dining room, dropping her bag off to the side before she went into the kitchen, seemingly following the sound coming from inside.
Mary was in the beginning stages of cooking dinner by getting all the ingredients out and you couldn’t help but smile as you turned the corner to get a good look at her. After everything today, you had mostly forgotten that Mary had been told to stay naked and while you had said she could wear underwear before Grace arrived, you hadn’t said anything about after.
Once you saw her, you could see that she was breaking the rules you had set out but the sight wasn’t unappealing either, finding her stood leaning over the counter wearing a full length apron and nothing else.
She had been facing away from you when you and Sarah entered but after hearing the noise of footsteps, she quickly turned around, using the apron to protect her modesty although it didn’t do much to help.
It was too thin along the sides to completely hide her figure and after tying it securely around herself, it had emphasised that even more as well as pushing out her cleavage. Even Sarah seemed to pause it what she was doing as the sight knocked her out of her thoughts with whatever she had been planning.
Mary stammered over the arrival of both of you but with a red face she still had something she needed to tell you as soon as she could.
“Lucy said this was okay! For when I was cooking” Mary said, already knowing she had broken your earlier rule and hoping you wouldn’t punish her for it.
“...I’ll have to check with her first before I decide on anything” you replied, staring at her for just a second longer than you needed to before you had started to speak.
There was some relief in her expression that told you she was telling the truth but as you hadn’t fully given her a verdict, there was still some anxiety seeping out of her as well.
With the conversation going on, Sarah had positioned herself further into the kitchen so she could see the both of you and now that she had gotten over the initial surprise of seeing Mary like that, it looked like she was trying to decide what she was going to say next.
She had already been surprised by seeing Mary like that and while you knew whatever Sarah had planned was likely to be good for you in the end, you had the thought of wanting to see how she would react if you acted differently than she expected.
Mary was now on one side of the kitchen island while Sarah was on the other, with you still standing in the doorway at the end of the room. Without telling either of them what you were planning, you dropped your bag at the door, walked inside, and positioned yourself behind Mary, feeling her go to turn to face her before you put a hand on her shoulder to stop her.
Before she could say anything to acknowledge what was happening, you wrapped your arms around her waist and rested your chin on her shoulder, tightening the hug from behind and starting the conversation back up as if nothing had changed.
“What’s for dinner?” you asked casually, wanting to see how both Sarah and Mary would react.
“... I’m making bolognese. Just something…” Mary went to explain.
As she spoke, you moved your hands from where they were resting on top of her apron and got them under, keeping your arms wrapped tight around her waist but now feeling her skin directly.
“...Just something simple, compared to the bigger meal we are having tomorrow” Mary continued, knowing that she would want to do something fancy if there were gonna be seven people all eating together.
“I’m sure it will be great as always” You replied, giving her a kiss on the cheek and using the chance to move your hands up under the apron, now just below her chest.
You weren’t exactly being subtle about it and you saw Sarah clearly roll her eyes in your direction as if she expected nothing less from you. Mary could also see Sarah’s reaction and while she seemed slightly relieved that Sarah wasn’t judging her and only you, she then realised that she couldn't use that as a quick excuse to get you to stop.
“Sweetie, do you have to…” Mary went to ask, stopping as she felt one of your hands move down and rest on one of her inner thighs, sucking in her breath as she felt like she couldn’t speak.
“It looked like you had something you wanted to tell Mary earlier” you said, bringing your attention back to Sarah as if what you had just done to Mary could easily be ignored.
You felt Mary’s thighs squish together as if she was trying to stop you but you moved one of your legs to nudge them apart and she did so without question, her resistance only a facade at this point.
Sarah looked at you briefly and while you couldn’t know her thoughts, you guessed she was trying to figure out what you were up to.
“...It can wait until later. I’m gonna go see what Lucy is up to” Sarah replied, turning to grab a bottled drink from the fridge and then making a move to leave.
“I wasn’t saying you have to leave if you don’t want to” you replied back, having hoped she would have revealed more of what she was up to.
Sarah turned to look at you with Mary still in your arms and paused in her steps.
“Are you telling me to stay or are you just asking?” Sarah questioned, her tone changing just enough for you to pick up on what she meant.
