Chapter 439 - Is your opinion shared with them? - A resounding no

“Well if it came to that then yeah. I mean Grace doesn’t need much monetary help and neither does Rebecca but if they ended up quitting their jobs then yeah I’d want to provide for them. I can’t do that now though, which is why I said I need to prepare” you explained, not expecting the answer to be so controversial.
Lucy was the one to finally break the tension, rubbing the bridge of her nose as she listened to you speak.
“It still amazes me how dumb you are sometimes. Why, if you are trying to set up this ideal situation for yourself, would you not think everyone would want to contribute as well?” Lucy shot back, having now let go of your erection to poke a finger into your chest.
“Well, you are free to but…” you went to reply, Lucy’s finger now pressing even harder against you.
“But what? So in that example, if Grace lost her job do you think we’d all sit back and watch you take all of the responsibility on yourself?” Lucy asked, throwing the scenario back to you.
The obvious answer had been a quick yes but given the way Lucy had worded it to you, you just kept quiet, knowing that you were only going to get poked for your answer. Your silence however seemed to be an answer in and of itself and before you could say anything, you could already see Mary looking at you with a tight-lipped expression.
“Think of it this way. If you wanted to help Grace but all of us forced you to sit back and let the rest of us help while you couldn’t do anything, you’d be pretty annoyed right? That’s how we would all feel in that situation. And probably for a lot of the scenarios you mentioned before” Mary explained, rewording the problem another way in the hopes of getting you to understand.
This seemed to be coming down to another of those moments where you thought you were doing something selfless but were in fact making things more stressful for everyone else. At least hypothetically in this situation. The last time had been when you wanted clarification from Sarah and Emma on what their limits were and you just needed to realise that they would tell you if you went too far and had to learn to trust them going forward.
“...I do get that. I just thought until now that it would be better for me to take on that responsibility. I mean I am the man of the house now” you joked, trying to lighten the mood a little but having your joke fall flat as the three stared back at you.
“...but I get your example. I guess I’ll have to think on it more” you admitted, seeing a more positive reaction from that than you did with your joke.
Surprisingly, Sarah had been quiet throughout all this as Mary and Lucy tried to talk some sense into you. You didn’t want to throw her under the bus but you did want to hear her opinion on the topic. She was still sat on your lap and all it really took to get her attention was to grope her a little harder than you already were.
“What about your take on this?” you asked, specifically speaking to Sarah.
Your question seemed to make Mary and Lucy realise the same as you, wondering what Sarah had to say given that she had been quiet.
“Well… I get what you two are saying but… Max should get the final decision right? He’s the one who should be in charge so if that’s the choice he makes then we should go along with it” Sarah replied, making you understand how the others must have felt when you were speaking before.
This time it felt like you had to be the one to speak up given how Sarah seemed to be putting you up on a pedestal, something you had noticed before but never this directly.
“I think you are free to have your own opinions. And having you disagree with me is gonna be for the best sometimes. Otherwise, I’ll just be controlling every part of your life if you live like that” you replied, trying not to sound argumentative.
The shocking thing was that Sarah seemed to still look confused with your answer, as if controlling more or potentially all of her life wasn’t a negative thing. You could have somewhat expected that from Mary if you had reached the max level of her submissive kink but Sarah had only reached level 3 of freeuse and was already deep into the prospect of you owning her.
Mary and Lucy also noticed her lack of response and the silence between you spoke words, getting Lucy to intervene as well.
“I think it’s time we get ready to head to bed,” Lucy suggested, standing up and putting her hand on Sarah’s arm to urge her to get up.
“We will leave you two to have your ‘talk’, right?” she added, giving Sarah the extra push to leave you and Mary on your own.
She was still hesitant to get up given how the conversation had ended but with Lucy being so insistent, she didn’t have much room to resist without making a scene, reluctantly following Lucy out of the room.
The room did feel colder without having someone sit on you, even if Mary had been warming your side.
“Do you want to stay here or go upstairs? In my room or yours. Wherever you feel more comfortable having this talk” you asked, making sure Mary knew you weren’t just trying to invite her somewhere more private just to get more intimate with her.
“...I did want to have this conversation in your room but Sarah might try and spy on us. At least Lucy should be keeping an eye on her” Mary replied, looking embarrassed about admitting her desire to go to your bedroom.
“Well if we are staying here…” you said, pulling Mary over onto your lap.
You didn’t fully have the strength to lift her from where you were but Mary got the hint and let herself get dragged.
Her body heat warmed you up again and you knew this was supposed to be a more serious conversation but you had some desires that couldn’t be put on hold.
“I know we need to have this talk but the three of you have been driving me wild all night and I really need some more relief. Are you sure we can’t have a bit of fun first and then get to this?” you asked, your cock still hard between the two of you, standing to attention.
You watched Mary look down to see you weren’t lying, now having to decide how she wanted to proceed.
