Chapter 341 - Is it the same girl behind the desk? - Customer service
🕑 Added 2023-06-20 17:58:22 +0000 UTCThe first thing you noticed was that the same girl wasn’t at the front desk anymore, most likely having the night shift and it would have probably been weirder if she was there. Emma let out a sigh but you still didn’t think all hope was lost, waiting in line at the counter as a few new quests checked in before it was your turn to step up to the desk.
“Hi, what can I help you with today?” greeted the older woman now manning the desk.
“Hi, uhmm, it's a bit of a weird query but we just wanted to check out the details for our stay. My friend said that there weren’t any other rooms available but we just wanted to make sure.” you replied, looking to see how close Emma was before you leaned slightly over the counter to speak a little quieter.
“I had a hunch that she didn’t want to bother me with the price of another room but I just wanted to check. I might look silly if I’m wrong but…” you added, the woman giving you a nod without you having to finish your sentence.
“Sure thing, we can check that for you.” she replied, starting typing away on the computer in front of her.
“Would you also be able to check if there’s any notes on our room or like our account if there is one? If that’s employee only then it’s fine.” you asked, hoping to see if anything was added from Grace if she did actually come down last night.
“Yep I can do that as well but as that’s relevant to you as an individual guest I’m gonna either need some ID or the room card itself.” she said, company policy putting a very minor barrier in your way.
Emma seemed to take that as her cue to get a little closer and she placed the card on the front desk, letting the woman take it before she continued looking at the screen in front of her.
“Okay so, it doesn’t look like there are any special accommodations or notes for your room, however there are some additional rooms still available at the hotel that were also unbooked last night” the receptionist answered, giving you a glum smile as it confirmed your suspicions.
“Were they double rooms though, with separate beds?” Emma asked, jumping in when she saw her chances of winning the bet fall.
She spoke a little louder than she intended and looked sheepish as she backed away but the woman didn’t seem to mind the outburst, probably dealing with a lot worse on a daily basis than a slightly loud Emma.
“Yes some of them were, we have a few options still available if you wanted to make changes” she replied, keeping the professional smile still up.
Emma looked dejected at that announcement and you were about to leave when you remembered to check about getting an alibi.
“Oh by the way, do you just serve breakfast downstairs or can you order it to the room?” you questioned.
“Either are available but there is a fee charged to the room’s account for any room service” she replied.
“Ahh cheers. Thanks for checking for us” you replied, taking Emma by the shoulder and turning back away from the desk.
A small queue had already formed behind you as the morning rush of guests arrived or came down to the lobby so you didn’t want to ask a tonne of questions. Instead, you headed to the hotel restaurant where they had a buffet style breakfast set up and you quickly scanned what they had available before heading back to the elevator.
Luckily everyone seemed to be going down and not up so the elevator emptied out when it got to the lobby and only you and Emma were there to ride it back up, giving you a chance to see how she was feeling.
“There's still a chance that she did it by mistake but she… maybe she was too embarrassed to go down and fix her mistake” you said, knowing that excuse was flimsy at best.
“You know Grace. When has she ever been embarrassed to start a conversation when she knows she can get her own way” Emma replied, at least now talking to you instead of staying in silence.
You let the conversation pause for just a moment longer to see if she would say what was on her mind but when she stayed silent you asked her yourself.
“If you don’t like the punishment you've technically already completed it anyway. Grace gave me a blowjob last night so we can count that. I didn’t really expect her to go that far anyway” you said, happy to let the punishment go if it meant a stupid bet didn’t cause a rift to come between you.
“It’s not that I lost it’s…” Emma went to reply, the words flowing out just as the elevator stopped and you were forced to get out, before the few people wanting to get in, filled the space.
You left the elevator and started walking down the corridor, Emma only started to talk once there was nobody around.
“...I’m fine with my punishment being another subject but I was hoping you could use the KDK on at least someone new. And what the receptionist said did also reveal that Grace totally did book us a single bedroom so now I’ve got that to wrap my head around.” Emma explained, looking slightly relieved when she told you what was bothering her.
You had expected the bit about Grace to bother her but getting new subjects for the KDK wasn’t something you had thought she had been that bothered by, a point you wanted to mention to her immediately.
“How long have you been wanting me to get more subjects? I know it sort of comes with the kink and it might sound rude to dismiss your feelings but I think it’s best we figure out if this is coming from you, or if it’s the KDK” you replied, causing Emma to think for a second before she actually stopped walking towards the room.
You could see her concentrating so you let her think about what she needed to think about while you considered her other problem.
If what you both thought was now true and that Grace had purposefully booked a room knowing that you would be sharing a bed, when and why had she planned that in the first place? You realised now that you should have checked when the room was originally booked but you there had already been a queue behind you and you could always check another time.
Again, it seemed to come down to waiting like some of your other problems. If you could get Grace to just admit why she did it then this would be a hell of a lot easier but you didn’t think she would do that with how on edge she was to your advances. A thought popped into your head about getting some alcohol tonight to loosen everyone up but before you could plan any further, Emma seemed to finally come to a conclusion.
