I'd like to counter the idea of a rifle not being super viable past 150 yards, the US army regularly trains to shoot and be accurate out to like ~220 yards, part of qual is hitting a ~330 yard target, the marines actively train to engage at the rifles max effective range, starting their qual at 500yrds
