CF: Update #1
🕑 Added 2023-04-14 21:33:23 +0000 UTCHey everyone! So I'm splitting the bi-monthly updates to the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month for convenience. If I for some reason happen to miss one of those Fridays for an update, please do not hesitate to reach out!
Progress has been incredibly slow. There's a lengthy commission that really needs to be done so I've started working on that more but other responsibilities and icky personal feelings have been getting in the way of everything. I thought about canceling the payments for people this month, but I think that'd also stop the patrons who are giving me monthly support just to keep me going outside of game development.
So I'm fine with anyone who's here for the game's development to bow out for a month or however you feel if you think progress is too slow in general or that the last month didn't have as much progress as you'd like.
My goals for the next two weeks are to try to finish the UI or get it into a proper enough state to worry about it later, and to do a CSS class online. There's a bunch of free ones, and it'd work just as much as a CSS tutorial, which I still need to do as well. I've been trying to get the harder parts, which are the mechanics and the UI, and leave the writing for last since I find that's rather easy. Blueballs has actually been such a big help with everything.
I've also asked Skyy to stop doing art until I get to the writing portions just because I feel a little uncomfortable with him doing that without more concrete progress on the project as a whole.
Though, how about y'all? What kind of progress would you like to see for the next two weeks?
All-in-all a bit of a weak first update, but I hope to get it in gear here soon. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! <3
