At 8:34 you mention that the quake happened at the boundary of the Pacific and North American plate. At first I thought this was an error but TIL that the "North American" plate extends all the way past eastern Russia and to the northern edge of Japan. Very cool stuff. Might be worth throwing in a brief map shot showing the plate boundaries to resolve the confusion for people like me?
