Hi Tom, This probably isn't a great idea- I'm not an engineer- but off the top of my head, when I saw the "bouncing switch" problem, I wondered whether a pawl mechanism, or ratchet mechanism, could be used to "capture" the top edge of the switch handle, to hold it in the closed position, and thus defeat the bounce.
