How did you mount the other chain sprocket on the left side of the read hub? I'm building an e-bike, and I'd like to have a large 80t sprocket that is driven with a 100kv motor with 9t sprocket on it, but I can't figure out how to mount the rear sprocket. Ideally it would be on the left side obviously, but how? single speed/fix flip flop hub would be great, if I could find a 80t sprocket to fit that, and if the locking nut with inverse threads actually holds it? How about mounting it to the disc brake mount?

How about going for a triple expansion set-up, all controlled by electronically operated valves? Looks great fun!

1:00 so triggered by the strap dangling next to the sprockets and getting sucked in by the spokes... but awesome project!

Another awesome project Tom, very creative and complex.

That is indeed a really cool project! If you manage to expand the air to ambient pressure, it is not going to sound like a steam engine ;)

Looks bonkers! Best of luck pulling it all together.
