It really depends on the occasion/purpose of the illustration! I think about the character's personality (and what the art is going to be used for/if theres any restrictions) and then just kinda imagine and scribble down the poses I would think the character would make haha Kind of like if you ever played eith dolls and moved their arms and legs etc. to different poses but doing that with drawing characters!

An Illustration book would be great! I feel like the thing that has changed most between Vol. 1 and 12 is the facial expressions (or their style)? Maybe that is just because of the different poses though.
