It has been a while hasn’t it? How are you? It feels like it's been so long and I really missed being here with all of you.
Sorry that I've been gone on and off for the past fews months. I think I was starting to feel the weight of being home all the time and simply unmotivated to work on any projects. Taking just a good long break from even thinking about work has helped get my ideas rolling again. Thank you for sticking around and being patient. It means the world to me that you are here and I hope you will enjoy my rewards for this upcoming month.
January's theme is: In the Clouds
I was very inspired by early 1900s book illustrations and that flat coloring style. Personally, I love working on line art so it was very fun and relaxing to just make so many tiny delicate strokes.
This idea was supposed to be for December that I started a while back.. maybe around November?? I don't remember but coming back to it several weeks later I just dumped my old color palette in favor with a more lighter and softer one. It feels more like January.
I'm going to keep working on my new stickers and I'm hoping I'll have them done or atleast close to being done before Jan 1st so I can show you!

I'm excited to start the new year with a refreshed mindset and I want to find ways to work at a more healthy pace. That's my new year's resolution!

UPDATE (01/03) :
I've finished the sticker designs! Drawing the wings and clouds was probably the hardest part since I barely used any reference until the end. Oops! I really like the style I went with and I'm hoping the stickers will come out the way I imagined them. We shall see!

i have a couple clear stickers that i’ve purchased and i love them all honestly! you can really blend the stickers really nicely with other things as well, like on furniture or your laptop and i feel like it makes the art pop more
hehe you think so?? I personally love clear stickers but I'm not sure how others feel about it. I think I'll go for it since it'll be fun and a bit different 💕
